Unreached People Groups
Unreached People Groups are communities or ethnic groups that have little to no access to or presence of mainstream religious teachings or Christian church communities. Typically, fewer than 2% of their population are followers of Christianity, and they often live in remote or isolated areas. Because of limited resources, language barriers, or cultural differences, these groups remain outside of the reach of many mission efforts. Recognizing unreached peoples helps Christians focus efforts on sharing their faith with communities where the message has not yet been spread, aiming for greater understanding and spiritual access for all peoples.
