United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee

The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) is the national organization responsible for supporting and overseeing American athletes competing in the Olympic and Paralympic Games. It works to select teams, provide training resources, and promote the values of sport and fair play. The USOPC also advocates for athletes' rights and works with international sports organizations to ensure athletes have the opportunity to compete at the highest level. Essentially, it acts as the national governing body that unites and prepares U.S. athletes for international competition, both in the Olympics and Paralympics.
