United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Germany

The United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Germany (UEK) was a Christian Protestant church body that united Lutheran and Reformed (Calvinist) traditions within Germany. It aimed to foster unity among different Protestant groups and promote shared worship, doctrine, and social work. The UEK was part of Germany’s broader Protestant landscape and engaged in ecumenical efforts with other Christian denominations. Although it formally dissolved in 2009, many of its congregations and members continue their spiritual practices within regional church associations. The UEK played a significant role in promoting Christian unity and dialogue in Germany.
