UNITAID

UNITAID is an international organization that helps improve access to medicines and health services in low- and middle-income countries. It raises funds from donors, such as governments and organizations, to buy and distribute affordable treatments for diseases like HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. By doing so, UNITAID aims to save lives, reduce illness, and promote healthier communities. It works in partnership with governments, NGOs, and private companies to make essential medicines more available and affordable, ultimately strengthening global health efforts.
