Undetectable viral load

An undetectable viral load means that the amount of HIV in a person's blood is so low that standard tests cannot find it. This doesn’t mean the virus is gone, but it indicates that antiretroviral therapy (ART) is effectively controlling the infection. Maintaining an undetectable viral load greatly reduces the risk of transmitting HIV to others and helps keep the immune system healthy. It’s a sign that treatment is working well, allowing individuals to live healthier lives and prevent the spread of the virus.
