understeer

Understeer occurs when a vehicle's front tires lose grip during a turn, causing the car to turn less sharply than the driver intends. As a result, the vehicle may feel like it’s "plowing" straight ahead instead of following the steering input. This typically happens if the driver turns the wheel sharply or the vehicle is driven at high speed, especially in challenging conditions. Understeer can be controlled or corrected by easing off the accelerator, reducing steering input, or adjusting driving techniques to maintain traction and steering responsiveness.
