Undergraduates
Undergraduates are students who are pursuing their first degree at a college or university, typically called a bachelor’s degree. They have completed secondary education (high school) and are engaged in coursework across various subjects, such as arts, sciences, or engineering. The undergraduate period usually lasts three to four years, during which students gain foundational knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities for their chosen field. After completing their coursework and requirements, undergraduates earn their degree, which can open pathways to employment or further study like graduate or professional programs.
