UNAT
UNAT (United Nations Administrative Tribunal) was an independent body established in 1950 to resolve employment disputes involving staff of the United Nations and its specialized agencies. It provided a fair and impartial forum for staff members to challenge administrative decisions affecting their careers, such as hiring, discipline, or termination. The Tribunal ensured that UN staff rights and obligations were upheld in accordance with established rules and policies. In 2009, UNAT was replaced by the UN Dispute Tribunal, continuing its mandate to promote fair and transparent resolution of employment disputes within the UN system.
