UN Member States

UN Member States are countries that have officially joined the United Nations, an international organization created to promote peace, security, cooperation, and human rights worldwide. Each member state agrees to work together on global issues, follow certain rules, and contribute to the UN’s efforts. As of now, there are 193 member countries, representing virtually every recognized nation, from large to small. Membership provides a platform for countries to communicate, negotiate, and collaborate on common challenges like climate change, conflict resolution, and development. In essence, UN Member States are the nations united under a global organization to address shared concerns.
