Umrah
Umrah is a voluntary Islamic pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca, performed at any time of the year. It involves specific rituals such as entering a state of sacred purity (Ihram), circumambulating the Kaaba seven times (Tawaf), walking or running between the hills of Safa and Marwah (Sa’i), and shaving or trimming hair. Unlike Hajj, which has fixed dates and additional rites, Umrah is shorter and can be completed in a few hours. It is a deeply spiritual act for Muslims seeking to renew faith, seek forgiveness, and demonstrate devotion.
