ultrasound transducer

An ultrasound transducer is a device used in medical imaging that emits high-frequency sound waves into the body. When these sound waves bounce off tissues, organs, or fluids, the transducer detects the returning echoes. It then converts these echoes into electrical signals, which a computer processes to create real-time images of the inside of the body. Essentially, the transducer acts as both a sender and receiver of sound waves, allowing healthcare providers to visualize structures like muscles, organs, and blood vessels without surgery or radiation.
