UKH (Ukok Plateau Mummy)

The UKH, or Ukok Plateau Mummy, refers to a remarkably well-preserved ancient burial found in Siberia’s Ukok Plateau. Dated to around 2,500 years ago, the mummy is believed to be of a noble woman from the Pazyryk culture. Preservation is exceptional due to the cold, dry climate, which kept skin, hair, and clothing intact. The archaeological site also includes intricate tattoos, textiles, and ceremonial artifacts, providing valuable insights into early Turkic and Siberian societies.
