UK schools

UK schools are institutions where students learn academic, social, and personal skills, typically from ages 4 to 18. They are divided into stages: primary (ages 4-11), secondary (ages 11-16), and sixth form or college (ages 16-18). Schools can be state-funded, following government curriculum, or independent (private). Key stages include national testing at ages 11 and 16. After GCSEs, students may choose further education options, such as A-levels or vocational courses. Schools aim to provide a well-rounded education, preparing students academically and socially for future careers or further study.
