Uganda People's Defence Force

The Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF) is the national military of Uganda, responsible for defending the country's sovereignty and supporting peace and security. It includes different branches such as the army, air force, and special forces. Established to protect Uganda from external threats and maintain internal stability, the UPDF also participates in humanitarian missions and regional peacekeeping efforts. It is under the control of the government and works to ensure the safety of Ugandan citizens and the nation's interests both within the country and abroad.
