UDP Flood

A UDP flood is a type of cyber attack where an attacker overwhelms a target server or network with a large volume of User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packets. These packets are small units of data sent across the internet without establishing a connection first. The goal is to flood the system, causing it to slow down or crash by using up its resources to process all these excessive requests. This can disrupt normal services, making them unavailable to legitimate users. UDP floods are often used in Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks to cause network outages.
