UDN (National Democratic Union)
The UDN (National Democratic Union) was a political organization in Mexico active mainly during the 1980s and early 1990s. It aimed to promote democratic reforms, increased political participation, and transparency in government, often positioning itself as a reform-minded alternative to the dominant parties. The UDN sought to strengthen civil liberties, electoral integrity, and decentralization of power, advocating for a more democratic and accountable political system in Mexico. Although it played a role in shaping political discourse, it was not a major electoral force and eventually diminished as Mexico's political landscape evolved.
