UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems)
Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), commonly known as drones, are aircraft operated without a human pilot onboard. They consist of the drone itself (aircraft), a remote control or onboard computer, and communication links. UAS are used for various purposes such as aerial photography, surveillance, delivery, agriculture, and research. They are equipped with sensors, cameras, and navigation systems to perform tasks autonomously or via remote control. UAS technology is advancing rapidly, offering increased safety, efficiency, and access to difficult or dangerous areas, transforming industries and providing new capabilities for both commercial and recreational applications.
