U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is a national assembly of Catholic bishops in the United States. It serves as a coordinating body to promote the Church’s teachings, support dioceses, and address social, moral, and spiritual issues affecting the country. The USCCB develops guidelines, advocates on behalf of the Church, and fosters unity among bishops. While it does not govern individual dioceses, it provides leadership and resources to help Catholic communities live out their faith in contemporary society.
