U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence

The U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE) is a military training and development hub responsible for preparing soldiers and leaders for combat operations involving maneuver warfare—movements to outflank or outmaneuver enemies. Located at Fort Benning, Georgia, it combines the traditions and training of the Infantry and Armor branches. The MCOE develops tactics, techniques, and procedures, and trains soldiers in skills like combat tactics, leadership, and teamwork to ensure effective ground combat operations. Its goal is to create agile, capable units ready to adapt and succeed in complex battlefield environments.
