U.S. Armenian community

The U.S. Armenian community consists of people of Armenian heritage who have settled in the United States, primarily since the late 19th century. Many arrived as refugees fleeing persecution and genocide, establishing vibrant cultural, religious, and social organizations. They maintain their Armenian language, traditions, and faith, often through churches and community centers. The community actively advocates for recognition of Armenian history, culture, and issues such as the Armenian Genocide. Today, it is one of the larger Armenian diaspora communities, contributing to American multiculturalism through business, arts, politics, and philanthropy.
