U.K. Parliament
The UK Parliament is the country's supreme legislative body, responsible for making and passing laws. It consists of two houses: the House of Commons, where Members of Parliament (MPs) are elected by the public, and the House of Lords, which includes appointed and hereditary members. Parliament debates key issues, scrutinizes the government, and approves budgets and laws. The Prime Minister leads the government and is usually the leader of the majority party in the House of Commons. Parliament ensures democratic governance, representing the people's interests and holding the government accountable.
