U-joint

A universal joint, or U-joint, is a mechanical connector that allows two rotating shafts to transmit power even when they aren't perfectly aligned. It consists of cross-shaped connectors with bearings that enable the shafts to bend and move relative to each other, accommodating angles and vibrations. U-joints are commonly used in vehicle drive shafts and industrial machinery to ensure smooth power transfer despite misalignment, helping to maintain continuous rotation and reduce stress on other components.
