Typewriter
A typewriter is a mechanical or electromechanical device used to produce printed characters on paper. It consists of a keyboard with keys representing letters, numbers, and symbols. When a key is pressed, it causes a typebar or an electronic impact to strike an inked ribbon, transferring the character onto the paper. Typewriters were widely used before computers for writing documents, offering a tangible, standalone tool for producing clean, uniform text quickly. Modern electronic devices have largely replaced typewriters, but they remain valued for their simplicity, durability, and nostalgic appeal.
