Tying

Tying is a business practice where a company requires customers to purchase a main product or service (the "tying" product) together with a secondary product or service (the "tied" product) as a condition for buying the main item. Essentially, it forces buyers to accept an additional product they might not want in order to obtain what they do want. This practice can limit consumer choice and competition, and in many jurisdictions, it's considered illegal if it unfairly restricts the market or harms competition.
