Twice-exceptional (2e) refers to individuals who possess extraordinary abilities or talents in certain areas, such as intelligence or creativity, while simultaneously experiencing challenges like learning disabilities, attention issues, or emotional differences. These individuals are gifted but may struggle with mainstream education or social interactions due to their disabilities. Recognizing 2e helps ensure they receive appropriate support and accommodations to nurture their strengths while addressing their challenges, enabling them to reach their full potential both academically and personally.
