TV standards

TV standards are technical specifications that ensure compatibility between broadcast signals, TVs, and other devices. They define how audio and video content are encoded, transmitted, and displayed. Common standards include NTSC (used mainly in North America and parts of Asia), PAL (used in Europe and some other regions), and SECAM (used in France and parts of Eastern Europe). More recent high-definition standards like HDMI, HDMI 2.0, and 4K UHD specify digital transmission formats to support better picture quality, color, and audio. These standards ensure that TVs from different manufacturers and regions can accurately receive and reproduce broadcast content.
