Tusi
Tusi was a medieval Persian scholar and scientist from the 13th century, known for developing an influential mathematical model called the "Tusi Couple." This model involved two circles rotating within each other to produce linear motion, an important step in the development of astronomical theories. Tusi's work helped bridge earlier ideas and later innovations in astronomy, influencing scholars well beyond Persia. His contributions demonstrate advanced understanding of planetary motion and mechanics, reflecting the sophistication of Islamic scientific achievements during his time.
