Turkish invasion of India
There has been no historical event called the Turkish invasion of India. However, during the medieval period, various Turkish and Central Asian Muslim armies, such as those led by Mahmud of Ghazni and later the Mughals (who traced their origins to Central Asia and Timurid ancestors), invaded and established rule in parts of India. These invasions brought Islamic culture, art, and governance, significantly influencing Indian history. Today, the term may sometimes be misused or confused with other historical conflicts, but there is no specific event called the "Turkish invasion of India."
