Turkic peoples

Turkic peoples are diverse ethnic groups sharing linguistic roots in the Turkic language family, spoken across a vast region from Eastern Europe and Central Asia to Siberia and Western Asia. They have historically been nomadic or semi-nomadic, with rich cultural traditions, and often have intertwined histories through trade, empire, and migration. Major Turkic peoples include Turks, Uzbeks, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Turkmens, and Uighurs. Despite regional differences, they share linguistic similarities and cultural elements, and many have played significant roles in the history and development of Eurasian civilizations.
