Turbojet engines
A turbojet engine is a type of jet engine that generates thrust by compressing air, mixing it with fuel, and igniting the mixture. The combustion produces high-speed exhaust gases that propel the aircraft forward through a turbine, which drives the compressor. The process involves drawing in large amounts of air, compressing it for efficiency, burning fuel to create hot gases, and then expelling these gases at high speed to generate thrust. Turbojets are most efficient at high speeds and altitudes and are commonly used in military and older commercial jets.
