Tulku

A Tulku is a recognized Buddhist teacher or practitioner, often a reincarnation of a previous spiritual master, particularly in Tibetan Buddhism. When a revered lama passes away, it is believed that their consciousness is reborn in a new body, and this individual is identified through specific signs and tests as the reborn master. Tulkus are trained from a young age, and their role is to continue guiding practitioners, preserve spiritual teachings, and serve as a spiritual authority within their tradition. This concept emphasizes the continuity of spiritual wisdom through successive incarnations.
