TULIP (theological acronym)

TULIP is an acronym representing five key points of Calvinist theology. It stands for Total Depravity (all humans are affected by sin and unable to choose God alone), Unconditional Election (God chooses whom to save based on His mercy, not human actions), Limited Atonement (Christ's death specifically secures salvation for the elect), Irresistible Grace (God's call to salvation cannot be rejected by those He chooses), and Perseverance of the Saints (true believers will remain committed to faith until the end). Together, TULIP articulates a view of God's sovereignty and grace in salvation, emphasizing that salvation is entirely God's work from start to finish.
