TULIP
TULIP is an acronym summarizing five core ideas of Calvinist theology about salvation: 1. Total depravity – humans are unable to choose God on their own due to sin. 2. Unconditional election – God chooses whom to save based on His grace, not human effort. 3. Limited atonement – Jesus's death effectively saves only those God has elected. 4. Irresistible grace – God's grace to save individuals cannot be rejected. 5. Perseverance of the saints – those truly saved will remain faithful and not lose their salvation. Together, TULIP outlines a perspective on divine sovereignty and predestination.
