Tughlaq

Tughlaq was a ruling family name in medieval India, particularly under the Delhi Sultanate. The most famous ruler, Muhammad bin Tughlaq, was known for his ambitious plans, like moving the capital and introducing new taxation methods, aimed at strengthening the empire. However, these ideas often failed due to poor execution and resistance, leading to instability and decline. The Tughlaq dynasty is remembered for its efforts to expand and organize the empire, even though many of their policies did not succeed. Their rule reflects both the aspirations and challenges of governance during that period.
