Tuckman's Stages of Team Development

Tuckman’s Stages of Team Development describe how teams grow over time. First, in the **forming** stage, members get to know each other and understand their roles. Then, during **storming**, conflicts and disagreements may happen as team members find their footing. In **norming**, the team starts working smoothly with shared goals and trust. Next, in **performing**, the team functions efficiently, with high collaboration and productivity. Finally, in **adjourning** (or sometimes called **mourning**), the team concludes its work and disbands. Understanding these stages helps manage team dynamics effectively and supports team success.
