Tuareg peoples
The Tuareg are a nomadic Berber-speaking people primarily found in the Sahara Desert region of North Africa, including countries like Mali, Niger, Algeria, and Libya. Known as the "Blue People" for their indigo-dyed clothing, they have a rich cultural heritage characterized by distinctive music, art, and social customs. Traditionally, they are camel herders and traders, playing a vital role in trans-Saharan commerce. Despite modern challenges, the Tuareg maintain a strong sense of identity, community, and autonomy, with their social structure and traditions deeply rooted in their desert environment.
