Tuareg people
The Tuareg are a nomadic Berber ethnic group primarily found in the Sahara Desert across countries like Mali, Niger, Algeria, Libya, and Burkina Faso. Known as the "Blue People" because of their indigo-dyed clothing, they have a rich cultural heritage, including distinct language, music, and craftsmanship such as silver jewelry and leatherwork. Historically, they have been traders, desert navigators, and guardians of trade routes. Despite modern challenges, many Tuareg continue traditional lifestyles, maintaining their customs and social structures, and advocating for greater autonomy and cultural recognition within the nations they inhabit.
