TTE (Transthoracic Echocardiography)

Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) is a non-invasive imaging test that uses sound waves to create pictures of the heart. A technician places a device called a transducer on the chest, which sends sound waves into the body. These waves bounce off the heart structures and return to the transducer, creating detailed images of the heart’s chambers, valves, and blood flow.
