Tsarnaev brothers
The Tsarnaev brothers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar, were two Chechen-American brothers involved in the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013. They carried out a terrorist attack using homemade bombs placed near the race course, resulting in three deaths and hundreds of injuries. Tamerlan, the older brother, was killed during a police confrontation, while Dzhokhar was captured and later sentenced to death. Their actions stemmed from extremist ideologies, making their case a significant example of domestic terrorism and highlighting challenges in identifying radicalization within communities.
