Truth bias

Truth bias is the tendency for people to believe others are telling the truth, especially when they have no reason to doubt them. It's a natural inclination to assume honesty in everyday interactions, which can sometimes lead to believing false or misleading statements. This bias helps build trust but can also make individuals more vulnerable to deception. Essentially, truth bias is our default expectation that others are honest, unless there are clear signs suggesting otherwise.
