Trust Games

Trust games are behavioral experiments used to understand how people make decisions about trusting others. In these games, one person (the trustor) is given some resources and can choose to send some or all of it to another person (the trustee). The amount sent often increases the trustee’s potential reward but also involves risk. The trustee then decides how much to return. These games reveal how trust and reciprocity influence cooperation, showing whether individuals are willing to take risks for mutual benefit and how they respond to trust or betrayal.
