Trust Administration
Trust administration is the process of managing and overseeing a trust—an arrangement where one person (the trustee) holds and manages assets on behalf of beneficiaries. The trustee ensures the trust’s terms are followed, assets are properly managed, and distributions are made according to the trust’s instructions. This involves tasks like investing assets, keeping records, paying taxes, and communicating with beneficiaries. The goal is to efficiently and faithfully carry out the grantor’s (trust creator’s) wishes while safeguarding the assets for those designated to benefit.
