True Hallucinations

True hallucinations are sensations of seeing, hearing, or experiencing things that are not actually present in the external environment. They originate entirely within the mind, without any real external stimulus triggering them. Unlike illusions, which distort real objects, hallucinations create entirely fictional perceptions. They can occur due to various factors such as mental health conditions, substance use, sensory deprivation, or neurological disorders. Essentially, true hallucinations are vivid, convincing experiences of things that don't exist outside the mind, making the individual perceive a reality that isn't there.
