Tropical and Subtropical Regions
Tropical and subtropical regions are parts of the world characterized by warm to hot climates. Tropical areas are near the Earth's equator, typically between 23.5°N and 23.5°S, and experience consistent temperatures year-round with high humidity. They often have lush rainforests and a distinct rainy season. Subtropical regions are located just outside the tropics, usually between 23.5° and 40° latitude, with hot summers and mild winters. These zones may experience more seasonal variation, including occasional frosts. Both regions support diverse ecosystems and are important for agriculture, tourism, and natural habitats.
