Tritanopia

Tritanopia is a form of color blindness where individuals have difficulty distinguishing between blue and yellow hues. It occurs due to a lack or malfunction of certain cells in the retina called cone cells, specifically the short-wavelength cones responsible for detecting blue light. As a result, colors that contain blue and yellow components may appear muted, different, or confusing. While it doesn't affect overall vision, it can make it challenging to differentiate some colors in everyday life, such as reading color-coded information or choosing clothing. Tritanopia is less common than other types of color blindness.
