Triduum
The Triduum, also known as the Holy or Easter Triduum, is a three-day period in Christian tradition that commemorates the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It begins on Holy Thursday evening and concludes on Easter Sunday evening. During these days, Christians reflect on Jesus’ Last Supper, his crucifixion, and his resurrection, often through special prayers, services, and rituals. The Triduum is considered the most solemn and sacred time in the Christian liturgical year, emphasizing God's sacrificial love and the promise of new life through Jesus’ resurrection.
