Triassic

The Triassic is a period in Earth's history that lasted from about 252 to 201 million years ago, marking the start of the Mesozoic Era. It followed the largest mass extinction event and saw the recovery of life, with the rise of the first dinosaurs and early mammals. During this time, Earth's continents were mainly connected as a supercontinent called Pangaea, influencing climate and life patterns. The period was characterized by diverse reptiles, including the ancestors of many modern species, and the development of ecosystems that laid the groundwork for the dinosaurs to dominate in later periods.
