Treble clef
The Treble clef, also known as the G clef, is a symbol used in musical notation to indicate the pitch of written notes. It is placed at the beginning of a staff (the five lines and four spaces) and designates the second line as the note G above middle C. This clef is primarily used for higher-pitched instruments and vocals, such as the violin, flute, and right hand of the piano. By establishing a reference point for pitch, the treble clef helps musicians read and perform music accurately.
