Transmission Efficiency

Transmission efficiency refers to how well a system moves energy from one point to another without loss. In practical terms, it shows how much of the original energy is successfully transmitted versus how much is lost as heat, vibration, or other forms. For example, if an engine produces 100 units of energy and 90 units reach the wheels, the transmission efficiency is 90%. Higher efficiency means less energy is wasted during transmission, resulting in better performance, lower operational costs, and reduced environmental impact. It is a key indicator of how effectively a system delivers power or energy from source to destination.
