Transition GPS

Transition GPS (or conus) is a Department of Defense program that helps military service members transition smoothly from active duty to civilian life. It combines two key aspects: career readiness training and transition assistance. Participants receive guidance on civilian job searching, resume writing, and interview skills, along with information on veterans’ benefits, education, and healthcare. The program typically includes workshops, counseling, and networking opportunities. Its goal is to equip service members with the knowledge and resources needed to find meaningful employment and successfully adapt to civilian life after their military service ends.
